COVID-19 INFO
The massage industry has been following local, national, and international guidelines to help prevent the spread of novel coronavirus. These include but are not limited to -
- both client and practitioner are to wear masks or face coverings for the full duration of the appointment (gloves & goggles/face shields may be worn upon request);
- clients and practitioners are both subject to temperature checks before services;
- increased sanitation procedures of the treatment room, restroom, etc;
- biweekly testing for massage therapists (please note: test results are taking up to 2 weeks at some labs);
- staggered appointment times to avoid overlap in waiting rooms; and
- flexible cancellation policies so both client & practitioner may cancel a session if symptoms are present, without penalty.
The COVID-19 Health Questionnaire will be emailed upon booking along with the Massage Intake Form. Both are to be completed - and ideally emailed back - in advance of the service.
